garage and cement floor coatings

Common FAQs

WHAT CAN BE COATED?

Just about anything cement or concrete. Garage floors, driveways, porches, walkways, patios, pool decks, basement floors, concrete steps, mud rooms, storage rooms…….. you get the idea!

WHAT DO YOU USE TO COAT THE SURFACES?

We use the newest technology in floor coatings. It’s called Polyurea and it is 4 times stronger than the most common product used in floor coating epoxy. It cures faster and is self-priming and forms a chemical bond with concrete.

We then generously apply color flakes of your choice to create texture and thickness to the floor and lastly, we apply a clear coat of polyurea to seal and protect the whole process.

WHAT PREPARATION NEEDS TO BE DONE?

The entire area to be coated needs to be clear of all items. We can help with the extra heavy stuff! Once clear, we will thoroughly clean and then surface grind the entire area to be coated.

We will then fill any pits and cracks to create a smooth surface for the application of the coating.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

Most garage floors can be completed in a day or two, but you’ll need to wait an additional 48 hrs. before driving on them.

Larger projects and multi-layered surfaces will take longer depending on size and material chosen. We will always provide an estimated timeline when we begin your project.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

The cost of floor coating is directly related to the size the area to be coated.  Generally speaking the cost per square foot is between $3 -$5 per square foot. This will depend on the condition and needed preparation of the area to be coated.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY?

Our epoxy coatings carry a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and our polyurea garage system has a 15- year manufacturer’s warranty.

As with all our services, we offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied then we aren’t done!
